Terms & Conditions
The terms under which businesses may use HisabKhana. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy and Reporting, Disputes & Corrections Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating a HisabKhana account, signing in, or continuing to use HisabKhana, you accept these Terms & Conditions on your own behalf and on behalf of the business you represent. You must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering and keep it updated. You must use HisabKhana only in accordance with applicable law. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the service.
2. Who provides the service
HisabKhana is a business-to-business seller network for e-commerce businesses operating in Pakistan, operated from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. You can reach us at arthurmarston581@gmail.com. HisabKhana is a private platform. It is not a government authority, government database, credit bureau, law-enforcement service or official verification authority, and it does not act on behalf of any such body.
3. Eligibility and business accounts
HisabKhana is intended for legitimate businesses and sellers. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register. Accounts are for business use, not personal investigation.
Businesses may be required to complete HisabKhana's business verification process, which may include submitting business details and supporting documents for review. Verification means a review carried out by HisabKhana of the information you submitted. A completed review is described as a “HisabKhana verified business”. It is not a government certification, government registration check, licence or endorsement by any authority, and it is not a guarantee about the business. Businesses awaiting review are shown as “Verification pending” and businesses whose review was not accepted are shown as “Verification rejected”. Unverified businesses may have limited access to certain features.
4. The services HisabKhana provides
- Customer lookup on a normalised customer identifier.
- Network risk signals generated from moderated network records.
- Transaction and report submission by sellers.
- Private, access-controlled supporting evidence.
- Disputes, corrections and moderation review.
- Bulk lookup of multiple identifiers.

- Business analytics of your own workspace activity.

- Community posts, comments, reactions and groups.
- Supplier and courier information contributed by the network.
- Store integrations, including Shopify and WooCommerce.
- REST API access and outbound webhooks on eligible plans.
- Subscription plans and usage allowances.
We may add, change, limit or withdraw features, including for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
5. Customer information and network reports
Sellers may submit factual, transaction-related information about their own completed or attempted orders, together with supporting evidence, subject to platform rules. You agree that:
- reports must be truthful and based on an actual business interaction your business experienced;
- you must not submit knowingly false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or irrelevant information;
- reports are subject to moderation and to the dispute and correction process;
- risk signals are generated according to defined platform rules applied to moderated records;
- a risk signal is a factual indicator drawn from reported transactions. It is not a declaration or finding that any person is a criminal, fraudster, scammer or otherwise guilty of wrongdoing;
- you remain responsible for your own business decisions, including whether to accept, dispatch, hold or cancel an order;
- HisabKhana does not guarantee that a lookup result is complete, current, accurate or error-free.
6. Evidence
Evidence may include documents, images and permitted short video files within the file limits shown in the app. Evidence is stored privately, is access-controlled, is never served through public links and is not published or indexed. You must have the right to submit any file you upload, and you must not upload unnecessary sensitive information about any person. We may restrict, remove or reject evidence that breaches these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the Community Guidelines, and we may reject unsupported file types, oversized files and executable files.
7. Disputes, corrections and appeals
A person named in a report, and a business whose report is challenged, may use the dispute and correction process to challenge a report, request a correction, or submit additional information for review. Submissions are reviewed by moderators, and outcomes are recorded in an audit trail. Where an appeal route is available for a decision, it is described in the Reporting, Disputes & Corrections Policy. While a report is under an active dispute, it does not automatically increase a customer's risk signal.
8. Community and groups
Community posts, comments, reactions and groups are available to HisabKhana users. You are responsible for the content you publish. Prohibited content includes harassment, threats, doxxing, discriminatory content, full customer contact details, accusatory labelling of individuals, unlawful content and content unrelated to legitimate business discussion. Community content is moderated, and content that breaches the rules may be removed. Repeated breaches may result in restriction, suspension or closure of an account. The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms.
9. Acceptable use
The following are prohibited:
- submitting fake, exaggerated or retaliatory reports;
- fabricating, altering or misrepresenting evidence;
- harassment, threats, intimidation or doxxing;
- unauthorised access to any account, workspace, data or system;
- scraping, mass extraction or other abuse of the network;
- automated abuse, including scripted lookups outside the API terms;
- sharing accounts, credentials or API keys where prohibited;
- attempting to bypass, reset or multiply lookup limits, including through additional accounts or workspaces;
- misusing customer information, including attempting to reconstruct full contact details or using lookups for anything other than an order decision;
- any unlawful activity;
- manipulating network signals, including coordinated or duplicate reporting.
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.
10. Subscription plans and usage
- Free — PKR 0 per month, 10 lookups per day, no API access.
- Pro — PKR 1,500 per month, 50 lookups per day, no API access.
- Business — PKR 5,000 per month, 200 lookups per day, API access included.
- Enterprise — custom pricing, custom limits, API access included.
Community and Groups remain available on all plans. The daily lookup allowance is a single unified allowance for each workspace and is consumed by all applicable lookup channels, including web customer checks, bulk lookup, Shopify, WooCommerce and the Business or Enterprise API. The allowance resets at the start of each Pakistan calendar day and unused allowance does not carry over. A failed request that never performs a lookup does not consume allowance, and webhook retries or duplicate webhook deliveries do not consume additional allowance.
11. Bank transfer payments
To pay by bank transfer or a supported local transfer method: select the plan you want; transfer the exact amount to the payment account details published in the app; provide the transaction or reference details; provide proof of payment if we request it. The request is then reviewed by our team. A subscription is activated only after the payment is successfully verified and approved. A transfer does not activate a subscription automatically, and a payment is never treated as received until it has been reviewed.
12. Card payments
Card payment is an available payment method for eligible paid plans. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm the payment, and the payment is processed by our payment provider. Where a card payment completes successfully, the corresponding subscription is activated once the payment is confirmed. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by HisabKhana.
13. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
- Paid plans run for the subscription period shown at the time of purchase, normally one month.
- Renewal is on the terms shown for the payment method used. Where a subscription does not renew, access reverts to the Free plan at the end of the paid period.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; it does not end access immediately unless we state otherwise.
- On expiry, the workspace continues on the Free plan allowance, and API access ends where the plan no longer includes it.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with our published refund policy as applicable at the time of the request, and in accordance with any refund rights that apply under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms creates a refund entitlement beyond that.
- Duplicate payments, verified overpayments and payments that cannot be applied to a plan are refunded or credited after review.
- Failed, reversed or disputed payments may result in the affected subscription being suspended or reverted to the Free plan.
- Non-payment of amounts due may lead to suspension of paid features.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or close an account, workspace or feature access for security violations, abuse of the platform or of other users, fraudulent activity, submitting false reports or fabricated evidence, repeated policy violations, non-payment, or where required for legal reasons. Where reasonably possible we will tell you the reason, and where an appeal route applies you may use it. On closure, access to the account and its workspaces ends. Reports, evidence, moderation records and audit records may be retained, deleted or anonymized as described in section 15 and in the Privacy Policy.
15. Account deletion
You may request deletion of your account. Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that every historical record is immediately erased. Where retention is reasonably necessary for network integrity, moderation, disputes, security, payment or accounting requirements, legal obligations or a legal hold:
- personal profile information may be deleted or anonymized where appropriate;
- legitimate reports may be retained in an appropriately anonymized or business-level form;
- evidence may be retained for the applicable retention period where still necessary;
- moderation, audit, payment and security records may be retained where necessary.
Retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Intellectual property
HisabKhana and its licensors own the platform software, interface, design, database structure, documentation, branding and trademarks. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative works from them except as permitted by law. You keep ownership of the content, reports and files you submit, and you grant HisabKhana a licence to host, process, moderate, display to permitted recipients and retain that content as necessary to operate the service and comply with these Terms and applicable law.
17. Third-party services and integrations
HisabKhana works with third parties, including store platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, payment providers, email providers, hosting and infrastructure providers. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions or availability. You are responsible for the credentials and permissions you grant to any integration.
18. Disclaimers
HisabKhana provides information and tools based on records submitted by its users. It does not guarantee successful deliveries, successful transactions, prevention of fraud, recovery of losses or any particular business outcome. Network information may be incomplete, out of date or disputed. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for your own legal and regulatory compliance.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HisabKhana is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business or reputational loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, or from reliance on network information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to HisabKhana for the service in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify HisabKhana against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use or misuse of the service, from false or fabricated submissions made through your account, from infringement of third-party rights by content you submit, or from your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of HisabKhana are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including applicable laws governing electronic transactions and contracts.
Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or dispute-resolution rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the courts having appropriate jurisdiction in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of HisabKhana.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right, remedy, or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
22. Grievances and complaints
Complaints and grievances relating to accounts, privacy, reports, disputes, payments, moderation, security or any other platform issue should be sent to the Grievance Officer / HisabKhana Support Team at arthurmarston581@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account, transaction, report or decision. We may ask for further information reasonably necessary to investigate. We will review grievances under our applicable policies and respond within a reasonable period. This internal process does not remove or limit any legal right or remedy available to you under applicable law.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Where a change is material, we will give notice in the app or by email to the address registered on the account before it takes effect, except where an immediate change is required for legal or security reasons. The updated Terms apply from the effective date shown on this page, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
