Community Guidelines

How sellers are expected to report transactions and communicate with each other on HisabKhana.

Use factual language

Describe what happened: “parcel refused at doorstep after two delivery attempts”. Do not write conclusions about a person's character. Tags on a report must be chosen from the controlled factual list; accusatory labels are not available and are not permitted. Refer to a reported transaction, a verified report, a disputed report or a risk signal rather than labelling any person.

Posts, comments, reactions and groups

Community posts, comments, reactions and groups are for legitimate business discussion: courier performance, supplier experience, packaging, pricing practice, operational questions and similar topics. Keep content relevant, keep individual customers out of public discussion, and do not use the community to pursue, pressure or expose a person.

Prohibited

  • Naming and shaming, doxxing or publicly sharing chat screenshots.
  • Harassment, threats, intimidation or calls for retaliation.
  • Discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, sect, gender, disability or area.
  • Posting a customer's full contact details anywhere in the product.
  • Submitting an outcome your business did not actually experience.
  • Fabricated or altered evidence.
  • Unlawful content, or content that infringes another party's rights.
  • Spam, advertising abuse and coordinated posting.

Evidence and attachments

Attach only files relating to the transaction you are reporting. Permitted types include documents, images and short video clips within the file limits shown in the app; executable files are rejected. Files stay private, are shared only with authorised moderators reviewing the matter, and are never published, linked publicly or indexed. Do not upload sensitive information that is not needed for the report.

Moderation

Reports and community content are reviewed. Content that breaches these guidelines may be removed or rejected, and repeated breaches may result in restriction, suspension or closure of an account. Moderation actions are recorded in an audit trail. The report review, dispute and correction process is described in the Reporting, Disputes & Corrections Policy.
